WRA Board Member Transitions

WWU Rugby traveled to Phoenix for a competitive cross-divisional match against Grand Canyon University, with the Vikings showing tremendous heart despite having 6 starters out of the lineup and managing multiple lead changes throughout the 80-minute contest.

Western Washington traveled to Grand Canyon over the weekend in a D1AA/D1A crossover match, and while GCU came away with the win, the Vikings have to feel relatively good about it all.

When WWU headed down I-5 to take on the UW Huskies, they knew to expect a spirited match.

This exciting evening will feature live and silent auctions, a delicious dinner, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with Alumni, Supporters & Friends as well as Team players and their families.

The setting was a perfect winter day for an epic battle and it took 80 minutes to decide the victor.

Harrington Field was the perfect setting for some early season rugby last Saturday. The winter sun was out, the skies were blue, and two games of rugby were played.

Western Washington University is excited to announce the appointment of Adam Roberts as the new head coach of its men’s rugby program, a premier club sport on campus since 1957. Roberts brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success at the highest levels of the sport.

The WWU Men's rugby team travelled with forty five players to Corvallis to take on the Beavers of OSU.

The WWU Vikings traveled to Ellensburg, WA for a Friday night lights face off against Central Washington University.
